We are seeking eligible applicants who will help live out the mission of Hope House which is to improve the quality of life for HIV-affected individuals and their families by providing high quality early childhood education and social services. Our children in our preschool are all affected by poverty and many by HIV. 

Preschool Teacher

Hope House has a Preschool Teacher Position open for our 3-5 year old classroom. This 10-month position has a competitive salary as well as good benefits. The position would work now - May 25th and resume after a summer break. School hours are 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 a.m. The classroom is closed for all Shelby County School holidays. Eligible applicants must possess a 4-year college degree and be certified in early childhood education through the State of Tennessee (no exceptions). Substitute Teacher

Hope House is seeking eligible applicants to substitute in our classrooms when our teachers are out. Our classrooms serve children 6 weeks to 5 years old. Eligible applicants must pass a background check prior to substituting in our classrooms and be available on at least one weekday between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.  All eligible applicants will be put on a substitute call list and contacted when a substitute teacher is needed.
